Joel joined Network for Africa in November 2018. He is responsible for managing the finances of the organisation, as well as the budgets for programme partners on the ground in Northern Uganda, Sierra Leone and Rwanda. He also supports the CEO with the overall development of the organisation. Joel brings varied experience to Network for Africa – he was previously Operations Director at Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a male suicide prevention charity, where he was responsible for service provision, finance, HR, operations and strategic development, putting in place the infrastructure for CALM’s rapid growth. Prior to working in the third sector, Joel was MD of a boutique, independent retail business and has also worked in range of financial and communications roles.
